Children with a short attention span cannot focus long on one thing. they will easily be distracted. They might be naughtier than children of the same age. The symptoms will be even more evident when the children are approaching school-age. Symptoms can mostly be observed before the age of 7 years. The study results of children with a short attention span are usually below average, because they simply don't seem to be able to concentrate on their work. They cannot sit quietly for a long time. They are not able to wait long in a queue.

They invite friends all the time to chat. They have a very restless attitude. Some children display rude behavior also or they get easily upset. the children may be interested in some things for a longer time, but only those things they like very much. For instance playing games, watching TV, etc.
